Eldeen Pozniak, CRSP

VP Health & Safety

Eldeen Pozniak has over three decades of expertise in Occupational Health and Safety. She is known for her collaborative approach, strategic direction and successful implementation of safety and health management systems across various industries. With skills that span from Safety Management System and Organizational Culture Assessment, Development and Implementation, specific OHS program and element development to strategic planning, change and project management.  Eldeen has played pivotal roles as an OHS Consultant, collaborating with industry powerhouses like Capstone Copper, TAQA, and Agrium/Nutrien. Before her current tenure, she held executive positions, guiding safety strategies from their inception to on-the-ground execution ensuring integrated operation & OHS approaches and success.

Eldeen holds an MBA, a B.A. in Environmental & Industrial Psychology and a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy. In addition to her academic achievements, she is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional,  a Certified Health and Safety Consultant, a Certified Health and Safety Management System Auditor, a Chartered Member of the International Institute of Occupational Safety & Health and a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

Jim Armstrong

Director of Operations

Jim Armstrong has over 25 years of experience in consulting and industrial management. As Operations Director at As-One Consulting, Jim oversees diverse global projects, ranging from the energy sector to paper making. Prior to As-One, Jim served in various capacities, including roles at renowned establishments like Woodstock Sterile Solutions and Alcoa.

His technical acumen encompasses areas such as: Process & Change Management, Financial Analysis, Operational Efficiency, and Maintenance & Reliability. Furthermore, Jim’s expertise also covers Asset Strategy, EH&S Best Practices, and Leadership Development. Noteworthy contributions can be seen in projects with esteemed clients like Georgia Pacific, Nestle USA, and Abbott Laboratories.

In addition to his industry experience, Jim has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University. He is also a graduate and instructor of Nuclear Power Operations in the US Navy.

Eric Parlin

Director of Operations

Eric Parlin has dedicated over 20 years to Operational Consulting. As Director of Operations at As One Consulting, Eric collaborates with clients to develop strategic roadmaps, leveraging historical data to highlight areas of opportunity and driving impactful results. Before his tenure at As One, Eric held significant roles such as Principal at Lean Solutions Team, Head of Management Consulting and PMO at ICC, Inc., and Director at Aptimise Consulting. His transformative leadership has been pivotal in various projects across renowned organizations, from Momentive Performance Materials to Georgia Pacific.

Eric’s domain expertise spans a broad spectrum: Supply Chain Management, with an emphasis on logistics and warehousing, Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Leadership Coaching. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a B.A. in Economics and International Business from Western Michigan University, and is a certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mauricio Vega

Managing Director, LATAM

Mauricio specializes in strategic execution, business administration, and business development. As Managing Director, LATAM, Mauricio leads As One’s business development activities across Central and South America. Prior to joining As One, Mauricio was a Business Development Executive for Myrtle Consulting. And previous to consulting, Mauricio spent over 25 years in various sectors of the oil and gas industry. Mauricio is an innovator in obtaining and negotiating business opportunities across various cultures. Mauricio has a track record of driving value generation, through setting and meeting challenging business objectives. Mauricio is an expert in managing high performance multidisciplinary teams and working across all functional areas of business to drive transformational change.

Mauricio has a B.S. in Business Administration from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA).

Chuck Stewart

Vice President, Sales

Chuck brings more than 25 years of experience helping companies improved performance. His industry experience includes a wide range of manufacturing companies in automotive, industrial products, paper and packaging, food production, building products and chemicals. As Vice President, Sales, Chuck is responsible for leading As One’s business development activities across the CPG, manufacturing, and utilities industries. Prior to joining As One, Chuck was a Business Development Executive for Accenture and Myrtle Consulting.

Before consulting, Chuck founded an ERP software company called Encompix, exclusively focusing on Engineer-to-Order, Project-Based manufacturing companies. He was involved in all aspects of operations. After 19 years, Encompix was sold to a private equity firm conducting a roll up of vertically oriented software companies having a loyal customer base and last-mile functionality. Chuck joined the acquiring company, becoming the Vice President of the Industry Solutions Group where he had Strategic and P&L responsibility for 5 business units. Chuck has a B.S. in Marketing & Finance from Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Chris Gregory

SVP, CPG & Manufacturing

Chris brings over 20 years of management consulting experience specializing in business performance management, process improvement, material yield, and throughput. As Senior Vice President, CPG/Manufacturing, Chris leads account delivery across the CPG and manufacturing spaces. Chris has managed and executed complex, transformational programs that account for more than $200 million of cost and revenue improvement. Prior to joining As One Consulting, Chris was the Chief Operating Officer at Powers Consulting Group, Principal at Accenture, and Vice President at Myrtle Consulting. He has also lead industry group forums for International Dairy Foods Association and the National Minority Supplier Development Council.

Functional experience includes Operational strategy and restructuring, Operational Excellence, Asset Care and Reliability, Operational Due Diligence, and Supply Chain Optimization. Chris has a B.S. in History from Westminster College. Chris is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

John Pocock

SVP Canada

John Pocock has almost 20 years of operations experience in both industry and consulting. As Senior Vice President, Natural Resources, John leads delivery of As One accounts across the mining, oil & gas, and chemicals industries. Prior to joining As One, John has held several leadership positions including Director at Accenture/Myrtle Consulting, Director at Kalium Consulting, and Superintendent for Technical Services for Nutrien. Throughout his career he has led several large consulting projects both as a consultant and as the client leader with success in multi-year projects for Organizational Transformation and Digital Enablement.

Technical fields of expertise include: Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, Safety Management Systems, Asset Health Management, CMMS/ERP systems, Maintenance Work Controls + Maintenance Management, Reliability Strategy and Engineering, Production planning, Capital Program Management, Advanced Analytics + Artificial intelligence, and Lean Continuous Improvement programs. He also has leadership and technical experience in Mine Planning, Mine Engineering + Geology, and Transportation logistics. John has certifications from a variety of institutions including: Northwestern University, Athabasca University, Keyano College, Canadian Management Centre, Stratford Career Institute, and PEMAC.

Jason Erny

Managing Partner

With over 15 years’ experience in Operational Consulting, Jason is a Managing Partner with As One and leads the Administrative function. Prior to forming As One Consulting, Jason was the Chief Financial Officer at Myrtle Consulting and a Managing Partner at Kalium Consulting. Jason specializes in Financial Planning & Budgeting, Asset Management, and Business Performance Management. Jason also has a deep operational background and has led multiple engagements across the mining, manufacturing and consumer goods industries. Jason is known for partnering with clients to solve problems, improve work processes, and develop the collective organizational behavioral changes required to drive measurable and sustainable results.

Jason holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Jason is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Level II Candidate.

Mark Hampel

Advisor

Mark is an industry veteran with 20 years of Operational Consulting experience.  As a founding member of As One Consulting, Mark has stepped away from his leadership role and now supports business development activities within the Natural Resources division. Mark has a strong background in supporting clients to transform their businesses and specializes in Asset Management, Business Performance Management, and Supply Chain Management.

 Prior to As One, Mark has held several leadership positions including Business Development Executive at Myrtle Consulting, Managing Partner at Kalium Consulting, and Director of Operations for Hitachi Consulting. Mark has an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Mark is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
